Our Essential Oil Candles Take Aromatherapy To The Next Level
Aromatherapy is an ancient practice that seeks to heal the mind, body and spirit. When therapeutic grade essential oils are dispersed into the air they can relax the body and assist with the treatment of a variety of conditions. While the practice of aromatherapy dates back to the first century and perhaps beyond, Promethean Candle Boutique’s essential oil candle designs bring it right into the modern age.
Our all natural essential oil candles are made using only therapeutic grade essential oils. We prefer these oils because they are created specifically for use in aromatherapy. Their cosmetic counterparts, unfortunately, can sometimes contain pesticides, fertilizers, synthetics and chemical additives. We use only 100% all natural soy wax and 100% cotton wicks. These all natural ingredients are used so as not to interfere with the natural healing aroma of the therapeutic grade essential oils that we use in all of our essential oil candles.
Gold - Therapeutic grade essential oil - Less common, average cost compared to most essential oils.
Platinum - Therapeutic grade essential oil - Rarest, higher cost compared to most essential oils.

Cube: This glass container, available in 21 ounce and 12 ounce sizes, is made with sturdy, thick glass in the shape of a cube with rounded corners. The top of the container is slightly wider than the bottom of the container. The 21 ounce size is made with 2 wicks to be sure that all the wax is burned when the wick reaches the bottom of the container. Flared Square: This 16 ounce glass container is also made with the same thick, durable glass as the Cube container. The top is flared out and gives the container a more classic look. This candle uses two wicks to be sure that all the wax is burned when the wick reaches the bottom of the container. Footed Square: This 20 ounce glass container is made with a lighter weight glass than the cube and flared square containers. The top is round and the body is square and crimps in at the bottom giving this container a classy look. Status Jar: This 12 ounce glass container is made with a similar type of glass as the footed square jar. The container is a cylindrical shape with a thick round foot at the bottom that is shaped much like the top giving this design a modern look. Metal Tins: These collection of attractive metal tins come in 4 ounce, 8 ounce and 16 ounce sizes. The sides have a brushes metal finish while the top is more glossy. The 16 ounce size uses two wicks to be sure that all the wax is burned when the wick reaches the bottom of the tin. When we say we offer all natural candle creations, we mean it! Every aspect of our essential oil candle creations is 100% natural. Considering this, prices can vary greatly depending on the essential oil that is selected for a particular candle. To simplifiy the pricing structure so it is easier for you, we've placed each essential oil candle into one of three catagories - Silver, Gold and Platinum.So, do be sure to check our entire line of essential oil candle designs before selecting candles for aromatherapy.
When you place an order for an essential oil candle, remember that each design is made to order. This means each creation is completely unique. The pictures serve only as examples. The appearance of your candle may vary slightly depending on how the candle is made. Also note that the ounces specified for each candle are associated with the volume and not the weight. The weight of the wax can vary.
